What it does.
Registration Role With Approval lets a site offer selected roles during account registration. People can request one or more of the roles the administrator chooses to expose, making the registration form reflect different membership or access needs.
Administrators can require approval for particular roles. When a requested role needs review, the account remains blocked until approval, and a configurable administrator email reports the username and requested roles.
