What it does.
Entity Reference Modal Create helps editors add related content while staying in the current editing form. Its widget combines entity autocomplete with an Add new action that opens the related entity’s form in a modal.
After creation, the new entity is selected for the reference and can be found by other autocomplete fields on the same form. Widget settings control the form mode, labels and modal dimensions, allowing the embedded creation workflow to fit the editorial task.
Capabilities.
- Entity autocomplete with inline creation action
- Modal entity creation and automatic selection
- Form-mode selection
- Configurable labels and modal dimensions
- Autocomplete labels without an ID suffix
Using the module.
- Choose Entity Reference Modal Create in Manage form display for an entity-reference field.
- Configure the allowed creation bundle, form mode and modal settings.
Project notes.
