What it does.
Entity log records changes to selected fields on Drupal entities. Administrators can choose which entity types, bundles and fields need a history, focusing the log on changes that matter to the site’s workflow.
Changes can be sent to Drupal’s watchdog logging system or stored as Entity log entities. The entity option exposes the records to Views, so teams can build their own change-history listings and displays.
Capabilities.
- Field-level change tracking
- Selection by entity type and bundle
- Watchdog logging option
- Dedicated log entities for custom Views
Using the module.
- Configure tracked fields at admin/config/entity-log.
- Choose the logging destination; use Views for a custom display when storing Entity log entities.
