DRUPAL MODULE / DEVELOPER TOOLS

Backup and Migrate: BackBeaver

Connects Backup and Migrate to BackBeaver so Drupal backups can use the service as a storage destination.

What it does.

This module adds BackBeaver as a remote destination for Backup and Migrate. It lets a Drupal site send backups to the service using the same backup controls and schedules already provided by Backup and Migrate.

Setup connects a registered BackBeaver site to Drupal with a site API key. Once the destination is saved, administrators can select it for database, public-file, private-file or full-site backups, either manually or on a schedule.

Capabilities.

  • BackBeaver destination inside Backup and Migrate
  • Connection through a site-specific API key
  • Manual and scheduled backup workflows
  • Database, file and whole-site backup selections

Using the module.

  1. Install Backup and Migrate and this integration.
  2. Register the site with BackBeaver, then add a BackBeaver destination under Backup and Migrate settings and enter the site API key.
  3. Select that destination in the backup operation or schedule.
